Unique small bowl with bird motif

Nice, small stoneware bowl made by Karin and Erling Heerwagen at their own workshop, Heerwagen Keramik, on Langeland.

The bowl has a rustic, unglazed exterior, while the inside is decorated with a hand-painted bird in the couple's characteristic style.

A fine example of the Heerwagen couple's whimsical ceramics, where traditional pottery craftsmanship is combined with their decorations.

The bowl is in intact condition with a full signature stamp and the year 1982 on the bottom. Please see the images for details and condition.
