Beautiful set of two folding chairs, model MK16, designed by Mogens Koch in 1932. The chairs feature the characteristic simple and functional expression that defines the design.
The chairs are easily folded by pulling on the seat, which causes the frame to slide together. They are crafted with frames in lacquered beech, while the seat and back are upholstered with sturdy, light-colored canvas. The wide arm straps in patinated saddle leather complete the simple and functional expression.
Both the woodwork and canvas are in beautiful vintage condition with normal, light patina. Please see the pictures for general details and condition.
