The Børge Mogensen spindle sofa, model 1789, is one of the true heavyweights of Danish design. Mogensen designed this iconic hybrid between a sofa and a chaise longue in 1945. This sofa is an original vintage model from 1981, featuring a lacquered beech frame and the original button-tufted cushions in black leather. One of the sides can easily be lowered to multiple levels using the accompanying leather straps.
The sofa is in beautiful vintage condition with minimal age-related signs of wear on the beech frame. Please see the images for details and condition.
