The plates are crafted by the renowned manufacturer Longchamp, France (stamped "Terre de Fer" on the bottom) and are examples of classic French Barbotine (majolica) from around 1900.
The design features a lifelike relief of asparagus with iconic purple tips resting on a white base.

Care instructions:
As this is antique ceramic over 100 years old, it is recommended to wash the plates by hand in lukewarm water with mild dish soap.
When storing in a stack, it is advisable to place a napkin between them to protect the surface from scratches.
